Warehouse shelf placement skills

The first is a horizontal layout, that is, the length of the shelf is perpendicular to the side wall of the warehouse. Its main advantages are that the main aisle is long and wide, the secondary aisle is short, neat and beautiful, easy to stock, if used in warehouse layout, it is also conducive to ventilation and lighting.

Vertical layout refers to the length direction of the shelf parallel to the side wall of the warehouse. Its main advantage is that goods can be arranged according to different storage time and frequency of in and out; items with short storage time and frequent in and out can be placed on both sides of the main aisle; items with long storage time but not frequent in and out can be placed on the inside.

Vertical layout and horizontal layout refer to horizontal layout and vertical layout in the same storage location, and the advantages of these two layouts can be comprehensively utilized.

Inclined layout means that in order to achieve comprehensive utilization, the warehouse channel is diagonally across the storage area and the warehouse is divided into different operating characteristics, such as large storage volume and small storage area. In this form of layout, the form of the warehouse is more complicated, and there are many locations and routes of goods entering and leaving the warehouse.

Mixed arrangement is an arrangement in which the long side of the cargo position is not only perpendicular to the main working channel, but also parallel to each other.

The above are some basic methods of shelf placement, or it is more reasonable to place them in a targeted manner according to the actual situation.
